This partnership aims to create a community of readers through a new&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">initiative that encourages everyone to read. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">The cornerstone of this initiative is <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.garlandisd.net\/content\/literacy-life-0\" style=\"color:blue; text-decoration:underline\"><strong><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">Literacy for Life<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/a><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;,serif\">, a community-wide event that will take place on September 21, 2019, at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland.
